I'm trying to work up to ordering medium, but sometimes it blows my head off. I usually resort to adding my own seasonings at home: lime, sugar, and a touch of chili flakes.

I asked a self-proclaimed baguette snob how he liked the bread here and he said it was "too fluffy". Well, that just means you can eat more of it. In the drive-through, you'll be asked if you want the vegetables on the side. If you say yes, you'll get the greens in a baggy that you can apply hours later and still have a fresh sandwich. We've never tried the "Special" that has head cheese. My favorite is the grilled pork sandwich and a Hong Kong Style Milk Tea. My 5-year-old likes the Paris Ham and Cheese.

The owner is charming and willing to recommend something to a cheese newbie like myself. He's even given me a free loaf of fresh bread when I came in at the right time. The only problem is that it usually takes longer than the 10 minutes that I have before my bus arrives.

We got the Dwaraka Combo Platter and the dosa was delicious. Most important for me, the samosas and chutneys were great, but too spicy for our kids. I usually like the cilantro chutney best, but I think their tomato chutney is my favorite. The sambar was a little boring. The aloo mutter was perfectly reasonable. Their website seems to be a flash-only affair that won't let me see the menu.

That's good news because the Corbett Fish House has a great selection of fish, highly evolved breading, and yummy sweet potato fries. It is already doing a brisk business without any formal advertising. I normally love all things halibut, but here, I have to recommend the delicate and tasty Alaskan cod over the dense and dry halibut. Their "world's greatest" fries are not all that amazing. They are just about the same as Burger King fries. Nowhere as good as Wendy's or Burgerville. And although the Lake Superior Yellow Perch might sound exotic, you'll have a lot of bones to pick through and in the end it isn't worth the effort. We had a cream of crab soup here that was a lovely and buttery treat. Overall, a very welcome addition to the neighborhood.

The stuffed green pepper (Simla Mirch Mayur) is surprisingly yummy. Note to self: this is the place where the green chutney is spicy and the red tamarind chutney is sweet. Rogan Josh is an old favorite here.

I haven't tried any of the hot tea selections, but I've had a ginger peach iced tea that was freshly brewed and fantastic. I've heard that the hum bao are very good here.

All was good, the soup was the weakest element and it was still quite flavorful and definitely spicy.
