1 finely chopped onion, white
1 Cup(s) water
2 Tablespoon(s) ancho chili powder
1 Teaspoon(s) salt
1 Teaspoon(s) cumin
1 Teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1 Teaspoon(s) red pepper flakes
Saute the beef and onion in a skillet until no longer pink.
Add the water and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered until the water is evaporated, about 15 minutes.
