Ingredients:
1 Pound(s) macaroni, elbow
4 Cup(s) milk
6 Clove(s) garlic
2 Tablespoon(s) butter
2 Tablespoon(s) flour
5 Cup(s) cheese, cheddar
1 Teaspoon(s) freshly ground black pepper
4 Slice(s) bacon
1/2 onion, white
1 Tablespoon(s) thyme
Directions:
Boil and drain the macaroni.

Fry the bacon and chop into bits.

In the bacon grease, brown the garlic and onion.

Add milk, butter, flour, thyme, and reduce heat, stirring into a smooth sauce. Sprinkle the grated cheddar into the sauce a handful at a time.

Add the macaroni to a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle with grated cheese, then pour over the sauce and briefly mix.

Top with more cheese and bread crumbs.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until browned.
