Ingredients:
1 Teaspoon(s) instant yeast
1/2 Cup(s) warm water
1 Tablespoon(s) sugar
2 Tablespoon(s) milk
1 1/2 Tablespoon(s) whisked egg
1/2 Teaspoon(s) salt
1 3/4 Cup(s) bread flour
2 Tablespoon(s) melted ghee
1 Clove(s) garlic
1 Teaspoon(s) chopped cilantro
Directions:
Mix yeast with warm water and sugar in a small bowl. Cover and let sit for 10 minutes, until foamy.
whisk together milk and egg in a small bowl.
Sift flour into a mixing bowl.
Add wet ingredients to flour: yeast, butter, egg, milk.
Stir until combined. No kneading is required.
Cover the bowl and let sit for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Cut into six pieces. Shape into balls.
Let the balls rise in a warm place under a towel for 15 minutes.
Roll out into naan shapes.
Fry in an oiled skillet over high heat for 1 minute on each side.
Finish with ghee, garlic, cilantro.
Serve hot.
