Recipe Name: Spicy Pork Chili Stew Submitted by: Julie
Source: Source Description:
Ethnicity: None Last Modified: 2/10/2016
Base: Pork/Ham Comments:
Course: Entree
Difficulty: Easy
Preparation Time: 30-60 Minutes
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients:
1 Pound(s) pork, ground
1 chopped onion, yellow
1 Tablespoon(s) chopped fresh oregano
2 Can(s) Mexican style if possible tomatoes, diced canned
2 Cup(s) **I make my own salsa verde
1 Tablespoon(s) cumin
3 Cup(s) chicken broth
3 Cup(s) fresh tomatillo
1 onion, white
1 Bunch(s) cilantro
1 chili, ancho
1 chili, serrano
2 lime
1 Can(s) corn kernels (fresh)
Directions:
First off, make the salsa verde. Broil the tomatillos, chilies, and one onion (quartered). When it's charred, put everything into a blender (seed the chilies and use ancho to taste), add salt and lime, and blend.

Meanwhile, in a large saucepan over medium heat, add ground pork, garlic, and onion. Cook and stir until pork has browned.

Stir in remaining ingredients (oregano through broth, and corn); cook for 25 minutes or so.

Can serve with cilantro, avocado, sour cream, whatever.
