Ingredients:
1 Pound(s) 90% lean beef, ground
1 Tablespoon(s) water
1/4 Teaspoon(s) baking soda
1 chopped onion, white
1 Tablespoon(s) oil, vegetable
1 1/2 Tablespoon(s) chili powder
1 1/2 Tablespoon(s) paprika
1 1/2 Teaspoon(s) cumin
1 1/2 Teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1 Teaspoon(s) salt
12 six-inch corn tortilla
2 Tablespoon(s) tomato paste
1/2 Cup(s) grated cheese, cheddar
Directions:
Mix water, baking soda, and ground beef and set aside.
Saute the onion in the vegetable oil until soft, but not brown.

Add the spices and tomato paste and bloom the spices for about 2 minutes.
Add the beef and cook about 5-7 minutes until no longer pink.
Remove from heat and mix in cheese.

Paint oil on the both sides of each tortilla and warm in a 400 degree oven until warm and pliable.
Fill and fold each taco then fry in several tablespoons of oil until crispy.
Fill and toppings and serve.
